There are several reasons why people are suing. With people on Yaz, serious injuries can be risks, but misleading advertising was also named in some of the lawsuits. These advertisements claimed that, no matter how bad or minor your acne might've been, Yaz was a realistic solution. This isn't actually true. The FDA never approved this drug for the treatment of minor acne, only severe acne.
